Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is a key role within our Product Team supporting business growth and product transformation. In this role, you will participate in projects to extend and enhance our line of SaaS recurring revenue and customer management solutions. 

The business analyst will work closely with our cross-functional team in Product, Software Development, Project Management, and Client Success to produce high quality documentation and define workflow processes that enhance our overall product offering.

The ideal candidate for this role is a detail-oriented professional who loves software product management, thrives in fast-paced environment, manages time well, is passionate about solving problems, and wants to grow within a talented product organization.  The business analyst will be part of a SCRUM software engineering team and should have an understanding of Agile methodology.



  • Work closely with cross-functional internal and external customer stakeholders to understand and document business needs and existing system functionality
  • Review documentation created by technical staff to ensure the accuracy and continuity of content and style
  • Manage updates and revisions, and maintain a regular publishing schedule for product documentation and release notes
  • Analyze existing and planned development roadmap items focusing on reuse, single-sourcing, and minimal maintenance requirements
  • Assist in defining business value for all product designs and development plans
  • Design and document organizational and software enablement workflow processes, assisting in building enablement plans to fully realize product lifecycle
  • Ensure proper documentation of product capabilities and manage the roll-out of product details to internal team and external clients


Knowledge and Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a business analyst and/or technical writer, ideally with software engineering teams
  • Experience documenting product features and capabilities for non-technical audiences including Sales and Client Success
  • Experience with Agile/PM management tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development environments is a plus
  • Experience with UI Design/Workflow/Mock-Ups Software like Balsamiq, Visio and Gliffy is a plus
  • Experience documenting as-is and to-be software functionality
  • Experience in validating and ensuring baseline user stories and acceptance criteria are met upon product releases and enhancements
  • Ability to communicate with clients, senior management, technical and functional teams
  • Highly motivated to succeed, passionate about continuous improvement, growth and change, flexible and adaptable in fast-paced environments
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Billing/Accounting software
  • Nice to have: Experience with business process modeling and design
  • Nice to have: experience in the telecom or related communications industries
