POSITION DESCRIPTION is seeking a talented and experienced cloud database expert to join our expanding Technology Team! In this role, you will participate in the mission-critical operations of our SaaS recurring revenue, payments, and customer management solutions.

As a new position for, the Cloud Data Administrator will report directly to the Director of Data and Infrastructure, and will work closely with the Engineering team, the Data Migration team, and other technology leaders. 


This position will serve a critical role in supporting both our current day-to-day data and infrastructure operations as well as helping lay the groundwork for the cloud migration of our databases and data infrastructure moving forward.

Specific duties will include:

  • Focus on support for production systems in the cloud.
  • Provide DBA operational support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness.
  • Provide accurate and creative solutions to customer problems to ensure customer success.
  • Provide DBA services to different teams, including database design, database generation, coding, and database operational and analytical production support.
  • DBA experience supporting operational and analytical relational databases, with a focus in cloud and related tools.
  • Create primary database storage structures, designing and creating primary objects, modifying database structure as necessary for enhancements or performance, creating documentation, designing interfaces, database objects, and creating plans for operational and analytical database platforms.


  • Strong experience with multiple versions of SQL Server 
  • Cloud experience within the SQL Server ecosphere (Azure SQL, RDS, SQL on IaaS, etc.)
  • High-level, demonstrable performance tuning capabilities
  • Hands-on experience migrating SQL Server data and workloads to the cloud


  • Physical infrastructure background
  • Network design and implementation experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Database Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other database-focused majors is based in Atlanta, GA, however this position may be 100% remote.
