POSITION DESCRIPTION

Day-to-day responsibilities include usage related support and development, reproducing and fixing bugs, collaborating with other teams to solve technical issues, improving testing, documentation, implementing best practices and processes, and interfacing with clients. The ideal candidate is results-focused, possesses good communication skills and is adept in all levels of web architecture and application development. Must be experienced in developing multi-tiered, cloud-based web applications and have exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

 

PURPOSE STATEMENT

To provide the highest degree of technical support for implementation projects run through the Onboarding Team and Professional Services. This entails building out and supporting any and all aspects of the rating process to ensure our clients are billing usage for their customers with the utmost accuracy.

Specific duties will include:

  • Deliver exceptional customer experience through direct interaction with clients
  • Quickly become proficient in Rev.io application architecture
  • Actively prioritize incoming work based on severity and importance
  • Communicate comfortably with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Provide timely enhancements, technical solutions, and bug fixes to complex features in all layers of the tech stack
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions with our Onboarding and other Development teams
  • Provide the analysis and design to improve, automate and scale our code base.
  • Diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations across database and web applications
  • Help build and maintain a test infrastructure for unit and low-level integration testing
  • Work collaboratively with third-party integrations, consultants, or client IT staff

 

CANDIDATE PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Participation in open source community.
  • Firm understanding of SQL Server, with the ability to work extensively within a multi-terabyte environment. Strong SQL skills cannot be overemphasized.
  • .NET development experience.
  • Data Analytic skills using Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks
  • Front-end experience such as JavaScript, HTML, & CSS.
  • Past experience working on an Agile team is a plus.
  • Demonstrable talent in working under pressure and time constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Ability to be self-directed and a self-starter.
