Job Summary

In 2018, became the first billing and back office software company serving providers in telecom, unified communications, VOIP, IoT, and related fields to include full payment facilitation (PayFac) services within a single platform.

Nearly two years after this product launch, continues to stand alone in offering full quote-to-cash billing combined with PayFac among our competitive set.

To fully leverage this competitive advantage and maximize our revenue potential in our PayFac, we are seeking to hire a Director of Payments to join our team.

This individual will have full direct responsibility for the revenue growth and successful operational execution of our PayFac business.

Our Director of Payments will report to our VP of Marketing but will work cross-functionally within our organization, particularly with our Product, Finance and Project Management departments as we seek to grow PayFac revenue and ensure a streamlined onboarding process for clients to our payments platform.

This individual will be a critical business leader within our organization in the coming years, and will be an exemplar of’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Day to day oversight of’s payments facilitation (PayFac) business with accountability for achieving revenue, client growth, and operational targets
  • Lead cross-functional teams in Product, Finance, and Project Management in successfully onboarding clients to our PayFac platform
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of PayFac within the platform, working across the organization to troubleshoot any issues
  • Manage product lifecycle for PayFac business and build the long-term vision for the product and customer experience in conjunction with’s ambitious company goals
  • Guide creation of promotional messages and materials specific to PayFac to help establish as a leader in this field among our core customer base
  • Represent PayFac in the external marketplace for, including at tradeshows, industry events, customer visits, and within relevant media

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or another relevant field. MBA a plus.
  • 7+ years direct operational experience in a leading company in one of the following industries: payments processing, banking, credit cards, EMV, or other relevant FinTech ventures
  • Experience working with innovative payments products, with launch experience as a major plus
  • Deep experience and knowledge in managing payments facilitation processes for business clients, including on issue troubleshooting
  • Expertise in working with payments processors such as Worldpay, Stripe,, PayPal, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to represent as our PayFac lead at industry events and in media
  • Comfort in dealing with executive-level decision makers among our client base
  • A customer-centric mentality
  • High technical literacy and ability to use enterprise business software and analytics tools 
  • Must be located in (or be willing to relocate to) the Metropolitan Atlanta area. No relocation assistance will be provided as part of the hiring package.
