Sales Development Internship

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibility of the Sales Development Intern is to grow personally and professionally while assisting the Rev.io team through prospecting and pipeline management. We're looking for people who love to win, have strong business ethics and great communication skills. Lead effective cross-functional relationships between all other departments within Rev.io and upholding the integrity of Rev.io’s Mission & Values. 

 

A Day in the Life:

  • Extensive sales training and presentation role play
  • Work collaboratively with your Director of Sales and team of Sales Consultants to observe a deal through the entire sales cycle
  • Learn Salesforce - track all prospecting, leads, meetings and daily tasks 
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
  • Lean SalesLoft - prospect for new clients via leading Sales Automation application 
  • Identify key decision makers and assist with developing strategic relationships to drive revenue
  • Collaborate with Sales Consultants and Account Executives in a fast paced sales environment 
  • Meet and exceed quantitative and qualitative goals for prospecting, customer contacts, qualified leads and pipeline generation
  • Demonstrate teamwork through sharing of best practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maximize territory and company success
  • Communicate customer feedback back to the company to assist in vision and strategic planning
  • Learn to forecast accurately -  weekly, monthly and quarterly 
  • Maintain a high level of integrity, commitment, and trust to exceed expectations

Intern applicants should:

  • Be a 2nd semester junior or senior with proven academic success; a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (Fall and Spring semesters)
  • Demonstrate a passion for sales
  • Be a self-starter and have demonstrated leadership experience
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate research and analytical skills
  • Be involved in leadership roles on campus
  • Convey knowledge of a CRM; preferred
  • Demonstrate written and oral communication skills
  • Be able to travel to the local Rev.io sales office - 100 Tower Place Buckhead Atlanta, GA 30326
